What is Google Analytics?

If you are new then first you need to know what is Google Analytics? Google Analytics is an analytics tool from Google. Through which you can analyze the traffic of your website i.e. angina and behavior of the visitors. You can find out how much traffic is coming to your blog, which article is being read or which pages are being visited, what time is coming, which country is coming from, which device is visiting your website, etc.

Why set up Google Analytics?

It is important to set up Google Analytics on a website. You can use Google Analytics data to make your website bigger accordingly. Suppose your website information is only for the people of Bangladesh. After publishing the website, you need to set up Google Analytics with your site to see if visitors are actually coming from Bangladesh. Google Analytics data will also be needed to optimize your website for search engines.

How to install Google Analytics on Blogger site?

The complete rules of the Google Analytics setup are shown in a few steps. If you follow the steps well, you can easily understand the matter.

Step-1: Create Google Analytics account: Visit: Google Analytics and click start measuring

Step-2: After clicking here you can see 1. Account setup: Here you can enter the name of the account as you wish. Because you can create 50 properties inside one account. So you have to remember why you don't give that name.

2. Property setup: Enter a property name here. It would be better to give the name of your website as the name. Because you can create up to 50 properties in Google Analytics under one account. Then select your country. Keep whatever currency you have. Then click on the show advanced option a little below. Put the URL of your website a little further down, cut out https (because https will be selected.) And select only universal analytics and click Next. Do exactly as shown in the figure below.

3. About your business: Here Industry category, Business size, How do you intend to use Google Analytics with your business? (Check all that apply) Select all you want and click Create. Because it is not more important. Then click Yes in terms and conditions.

Step-3: After creating the account and property, you can see the interface directly below. From here, copy the Tracking ID and move it to the dashboard of your Blogger site.

Step-4: After coming to Blogger Dasboard, click on Setting from below. And just below the Basic section, click on the Google Analytics Property ID and paste the copied Tracking ID there and save it. Then come to the home page of your website and refresh 2/3 times.

Blogger Dasboard > Setting > Google Analytics Property ID > Paste &  Save

Step-5: Refresh and return to your Google Analytics home page to see if the account has been activated. After 24 hours you can see the data on your website.
